Rates & Payment Policies
Additional cats will add $1 per cat per day.
Payment Details
- All fees must be paid at the start of the visit, when you drop your cat(s) off.
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Credit Cards (American Express is NOT accepted).
- Minnesota Sales Tax will be added to all transactions.
- We charge by the day (charged for each day your cat is here; we do not charge by the night).
Reservations & Cancellations
- A deposit of 50% of the cost of the visit might be required at the time a reservation is made.
- If canceled 14 days or less before the first day of the reservation, the deposit will not be refunded.
- Early returns will not receive a cash refund, but you will receive a credit on your account for unused days for your next visit.
Hours & Drop-Off/Pick-Up
Drop offs and pick ups are between 9 AM and 6 PM by appointment ONLY.
This is a small building and a small parking area, and we allow people from only one family at a time in the building.
Phone calls will be answered and phone messages returned between 9 AM and 6 PM. Facility tours also require an appointment.
Vaccinations & Health Requirements
Must have been examined by a veterinarian within one year previous to their visit.
Must be current on vaccinations for rabies and "distemper" (panleukopenia, rhinotracheitis, and calcivirus). We MUST have a copy of your paperwork on file.
Cats over 1 year old must be spayed or neutered.
Cats with an active, contagious illness will not be allowed into Casey's Place.
All arriving cats will be checked for fleas. Cats with fleas will be given a flea bath and treated with Frontline Plus at a cost of $50.00.
Cats must be in an enclosed, secure carrier when arriving and leaving.
Medical Care & Routine Notice
Should medical care be necessary, your cat will be taken to your personal veterinarian during normal business hours and to an emergency clinic outside normal hours. You will be responsible for all charges. Light coat brushing is available if tolerated, but we do not do full brush-outs or clean teeth.
About Casey's Place
Casey's Place is owned and operated by Nancy Zeidlik, a lifelong, devoted animal lover who has shared her life with 26 cats—so far—several dogs, and a few birds. Nancy volunteered for the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley as a foster parent for 10 years and worked as a state and federally licensed wildlife rehabilitator for 25 years.
The facility was named in honor of Casey, an orange and white tabby that lived with Nancy for 23 years.
